After 8 years of reading millions of documents and e-mails as a lawyer, I quit my job to be a stay-at-home-mom of two. I now read a lot of Captain Underpants, which is way easier to understand. And when people make unreasonable demands of me now, I can say no and send them to their room.
I was born and raised in the Midwest, so am constantly afraid of offending people. But I’ve lived on the East Coast long enough to appreciate a good f-bomb, as you will see. Consider yourself warned.

Good stuff. I’m currently a lawyer and I was born and raised in the midwest as well. I don’t care about offending people though. Great job taking time off to stay home with kids (that may have been from one of your posts). My wife and I struggled with whether or not she should do the same, but in the end, we decided to have the nicer house in the nicer part of the suburbs, so everyone has to work!
